Description


The marketing department was established by a decision issued by the Director General of the Academy No. 1174 dated 30/1/2002, and the tourism and hospitality division of the department was included by Decision No. 154 dated 2007/7/11, and thus the department includes the marketing division and the tourism and hospitality division.

Vision


The Department seeks to be a contributor to the achievement of the Academy's goals, strategies, administrative, scientific and educational policies by performing the tasks assigned to it, and to be a pioneer in mastery, innovation and excellence in the fields of scientific research, teaching, training and Consulting in the sciences and arts of marketing, tourism and hospitality at the local and international levels and with the highest quality standards.

Message


The Department's mission is to prepare specialized scientific competencies in marketing and Tourism Sciences capable of working in various organizations and institutions, in addition to contributing to the research and development process in these fields, and providing consultations to contribute to the knowledge and marketing development as well as sustainable tourism that would meet the needs and desires of beneficiaries from various segments of society.

Goals


The marketing department (marketing division, tourism and hospitality division) is one of the scientific departments at the school of administrative and financial sciences at the Academy, which works to achieve a number of goals that can be presented as follows:

  1. Preparing cadres in the fields of teaching and scientific research who effectively contribute to supporting economic development in the fields of marketing, tourism and hospitality.
  2. Contribute to the dissemination of marketing and Tourism Culture in the community by organizing various means of communication locally and internationally (conferences, seminars, workshops, etc.)....Etc.).
  3. Introducing the tourism product and accompanying services to the tourism sector in Libya through organizing effective promotional campaigns locally and internationally.
  4. Contribute to raising the standard of living for members of the local community by promoting the tourism and hospitality sector and providing direct and indirect job opportunities in various fields.
  5. Conducting scientific studies and research in the fields of marketing, tourism and hospitality to contribute to solving the problems facing organizations in the public and private sectors.
  6. Providing expertise and technical consulting for public and private projects and competent authorities in the fields of marketing, tourism and hospitality.
